Toronto based startup integrates product with leading social media management platform
We’re excited to announce that after three months of hard work, we have integrated our product into Hootsuite’s app directory. What does that mean for Hootsuite users?
Every single one of Hootsuite’s 16M users (including over 1M small businesses) can download our app on Hootsuite’s app directory. It’s as easy as downloading a web browser extension.
When a Hootsuite user downloads the Trufan app, they will get an email notifying them that their account is running. After it’s done, they’ll receive another email to check their Hootsuite dashboard. On the dashboard, they’ll see the Trufan app showing them their top five fans on Instagram.
A user will be able to get basic details on these fans and will be able to see how they engaged with certain posts (positively, negatively, neutral).
If a user wants to see more than 5 fans, they can easily get in touch with us to sign up for a plan.
What’s the value in knowing your top fans? Since we started Trufan, we’ve believed in the Pareto principle: 80% of a company’s annual revenue comes from the top 20% of their existing customer base. Our thesis is that when a brand rewards their top fans and shows them loyalty, it pays off in more than just sales. You convert your customers from people who just buy to advocates who buy in.
This integration is something we’ve really been looking forward to. It makes Hootsuite our first channel partner. We’re looking forward to working with them to gain access to a customer base that is made up primarily of small-medium sized enterprises. It’s also special for us since we started Trufan in Vancouver and we built the first version of our platform working out of the Hootsuite office.
